The iconic I LOVE NEW YORK campaign, administered by Empire State Development’s Division of Tourism, promotes New York State’s tourism industry; introducing travelers and businesses in all corners of the world to the state’s local tourism markets and attractions, including its vibrant communities, natural wonders and convention destinations.
Founded in 1919, Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance, is an association of private-sector attractions, tourism-related businesses and county tourism offices working together to enhance and promote visitor businesses for the 9,000 square-mile region, which includes the 14 counties of Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Livingston, Monroe, Onondaga, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne & Yates.
Finger Lakes Wine Country's mission is to promote economic development in Chemung, Steuben, Schuyler and Yates Counties in the State of New York, and to improve the quality of life in those counties, by supporting and improving the tourism industry.
NYSTVA is organized for the purposes of bringing together New York State tourism industry interests to: advocate government policies and programs which will strengthen the industry; to raise the level of professionalism within the industry; to encourage the development of cooperative relationships and partnerships among its members; and to raise consumer awareness and appreciation of travel and vacation opportunities in New York State.
The New York State Travel & Vacation Association is the tourism industry’s leader in communication, legislative awareness, professional development and promotion.
The Chamber Alliance of New York State is an association of chambers of commerce.
It is dedicated to focusing the collective influence and efforts of chambers,
while contributing to their growth and professionalism.
Having grown out of the New York State Chamber of Commerce Executives in 1997, this organization elevates the prominence and image of local chambers and provides a forum for sharing ideas, management processes and new technology. CANYS is now the central point for joint efforts on behalf of local chambers in legislative affairs, economic development and organizational growth.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation representing 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations. More than 96% of U.S. Chamber members are small businesses with 100 employees or fewer.
As the voice of business, the Chamber's core purpose is to fight for free enterprise before Congress, the White House, regulatory agencies, the courts, the court of public opinion, and governments around the world.
The Business Council of New York State, Inc., is the leading business organization in New York State, representing the interests of large and small firms throughout the state. Its membership is made up of thousands of member companies, as well as local chambers of commerce and professional and trade associations.
The primary function of the organization is to serve as an advocate for employers in the state political and policy-making arena, working for a healthier business climate, economic growth, and jobs.
