Places to Eat
The State of New York Department of Agriculture and Markets has approved a Cuisine Trail to showcase local cuisine from Burdett NY to Lodi NY, along the east side of Seneca Lake.
It will be one of only five cuisine trails designated by legislation in the entire state.
Each of the restaurants participating in the Cuisine Trail is locally owned. The meals created by their chefs rely on locally grown meats, fruits, vegetables, herbs and wines that result in a unique cuisine. The theme of the trail will be to showcase the cooperative nature of the restaurateurs and the local agricultural producers. The cuisine produced is distinctive to the area and places an emphasis on fresh, locally grown food.
