Schuyler County and the surrounding area are rich in arts and culture. Take a tour through a historic museum or historical society. Arrange a tour of a one room school house. Attend an art opening. Listen to live music on a lakefront deck. Enjoy local as well as nationally renowned artists at one of several art galleries. Watch artists blow glass or spin fiber, right before your eyes.
The Points of Inspiration Driving Trails offer self-guided opportunities to explore Schuyler County and beyond. Take in the incredible history and scenery that we are so lucky to have here in the Finger Lakes. Points of Inspiration offers up two driving trails: Scenic Views (marked by orange flags) and Architecture (marked by blue flags). There is also a geocache trail associated with the various stops, so be sure to check that out to claim some neat trinkets!
Stops along the Scenic Views Trail range from historic monuments to the heights of our hilltops to a forest fire tower higher than the trees. Stops along the Architecture Trail range from historic churches to museums to quaint town squares. For more information, click here.
